As part of Knockaround Class Acts, an annual initiative that aims to donate money, resources, and art supplies to underfunded elementary schools, we held a design contest at a few local elementary schools last fall. We selected one lucky winner to have their design produced and pre-sold on Indiegogo.com in November 2013.
Vanessa, a fifth-grader, created the winning design; Limited Edition Nacho Premiums. Inspired by her favorite food, the Nacho sunglasses feature a Southwest-orange and jalapeño-green frame, yellow sunset lenses, and a geometric tortilla chip pattern. Each pair comes with a yellow felt case, hand-numbered edition card, and bottle of hot sauce!
